The BioMicroLab LabelPro automates the time intensive and error-prone process of printing and applying labels by hand. Available as a standalone printer or integrated with a BioMicroLab XL Tube Handler for automating labeling alongside other tube handling tasks, the BioMicroLab LabelPro applies labels to microtubes, cryovials, glass vials and Falcon conical centrifuge tubes. Using included software, operators can design uniform or unique labels with barcodes, text or symbols using any font, and easily repeat labeling projects.

The BioMicroLab LabelPro is available as a standalone labeler, or integrated with an XL Series Tube & Vial Handler for automated label printing and application. When attached to an XL Series Tube & Vial Handler, the LabelPro  is easily configurable as either a dedicated tube labeler or integrated into workflows involving volume detection, capping, liquid transfer or reformatting.

BioMicroLab’s intuitive software enables researchers to easily design and print barcodes, human readable text, images, and symbols using any font. It also provides flexibility to print either identical or unique labels. Project based workflows enable easy duplication of common labeling jobs, streamlining workflows and saving valuable researcher time.

The high quality printing resolution of 300-600 dpi ensures label readability and reduces errors. The labels are designed to withstand LN2 (-196°C) and freezer (-80°C) environments, and the thermal printer resin provides exceptional DMSO and alcohol chemical resistance for durability.

With a compact footprint, adding just 10″ (254mm) of depth to an XL9 or XL20, and 7.5″ (190.5mm) of depth to an XL100 or XL200, the LabelPro maximizes available space, enabling efficient laboratory layout - without compromising on capabilities.

The XL LabelPro is compatible with a wide range of microtubes, cryovials, glass tubes, and Falcon conical centrifuge tubes. When operated in standalone mode, any vial up to 1″ (25mm) diameter can be labeled. When attached to an XL Series Tube Handler (XL9, XL20, XL100, XL200), it enables labeling of all tubes and vials compatible with those instruments.
