Royston, UK (4th June 2014) Dr Jas Sanghera, Managing Director of TTP Labtech has been awarded the “Business Leader of the Year Award” for demonstrating the successful leadership of a life science company in an economic downturn. Jas’ strategy to grow the company in such challenging times was to rejuvenate existing products, establish new markets and focus on new products that deliver essential laboratory tools to the hands of the scientists.
The 3rd European Life Science Award ceremony was held in Barcelona on 13th May this year during the opening reception evening for the European Lab Automation 2014 exhibition. These Awards, organized and hosted by Select Biosciences Ltd, celebrate the very best of the life science industry’s achievements and media sponsors included Drug Discovery World, Genetic Engineering News and European Drug Target Review. The prestigious Judging Panel included Hakim Djaballah, Director, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Anthony Davies, Director, High Content Research Facility, National Center for High Content Screening and Analysis (INCHA).
Joby Jenkins, Global Sales Manager for liquid handling, accepted the award certificate and trophy on behalf of Dr Sanghera.
TTP Labtech has continued to grow its global business across their product portfolio in liquid handling, sample management and cell imaging. “I am very proud to have been recognized for our success this year.
