If you want to maintain a backup PC for the lab2lab main system PC, then it must be kept as up to date as possible with the active PC.
- Ensure that it has the same version of the Director software as well as the files in the Config folder.
- Ensure that all the runtime Settings are identical. The easiest way to duplicate these settings on another PC is to start the Director software on that PC and manually alter the required parameters.
- If the current PC and backup PC are to use locally hosted Oracle databases, then they must both have the same version of Oracle installed and the same schema.
