      Care and maintenance - 14.2 - Routine preventative maintenance

      Proper instrument care and maintenance is an important part of user safety. It can help to prolong equipment life and have a positive impact on your results as well.

      14.2.1 Software updates

      Reliance will inform you when firefly software updates are ready. Updates will not be installed automatically.

      14.2.2 Servicing requirements

      firefly has no user-serviceable parts. Contact reliance (see section 15) to arrange maintenance for your instrument.

      IMPORTANT: Yearly servicing is recommended.
