Lower cabinet - 8.4 Air regulator

The air regulator is located beneath the shelf in the lower cabinet, alongside the PC.

The air regulator is set to 5 Bar during commissioning and does not need further adjustment. If the supply pressure falls below the set-point the instrument may start to function incorrectly. The instrument is fitted with an electronic pressure switch which will send a signal to the control system if the air pressure is insufficient. You will see an error message if the air pressure is too low.

If the instrument is to be moved or work is being carried out the air supply should be isolated by means of the air isolation valve located next to the air pressure regulator. It is important to keep chameleon free of dust and particulate contaminants.
