Cryogen drawer - 9.0

A powered drawer is located in the center of the instrument. A removeable cryogen bowl is fitted into this, holding the liquid cryogens required for grid freezing. 

The drawer has two location dowels onto which a removable bowl is fitted.  

In the inside of the drawer front there are a series of electrical contact pads. These make electrical connections to the bowl when fitted.
