Using the Gradient Editor

The Gradient Editor supports the set-up of linear, n-fold and ad-hoc gradients. To enter the editor,
choose a component with horizontal or vertical direction and click on the ‘Edit…’ button.

Alternatively, select a region and add a component and click on the ‘Edit…’ button.

Use the gradient editor to change gradient type, to add control rows or columns or to add copies.

Adding controls

First choose whether to add control columns or control rows

.Then specify which columns/rows to skip. The plate map will update.

CONTROL COLUMNS

Using 'Skip columns', '8, 16' would give this dispense pattern.

CONTROL ROWS

Using 'Skip rows', '5, 12' would give this dispense pattern.

Adding copies

Select how many point and series copies are required. The plate map will immediately update.
