      Specific Risks - 2.3 Ethane hazards

      general warning

      Ethane is an extremely flammable gas.  

      You should familiarize yourself with the safety data sheet for ethane prior to using the instrument. 

      Ethane has not been assigned occupational exposure limits.  

      You must conduct and document risk assessments for each work area where ethane is used. This should assess relevant risks and select suitable PPE.
