The XL9B is a reliable, flexible, and affordable robotic pick and place system used to automate critical sample management tasks such as organizing, reformatting, and accurately tracking samples.
The XL9B Tube Handler system allow automatic sorting and weighing of cryovials stored in the 96-tube rack format, as well as label printing and application with the addition of the LabelPro module.
The XL9B is fully compatible with LIMS systems and with multiple labware types.
The XL9B software has two modes of operation:
- Work List Processing mode

- XL9B moves tubes from source rack to target rack specified by a user work list.
2. Data Collection mode

- XL9B moves tubes from source rack to i.e. analytical balance or barcode reader, then back to the source rack.
- No work list is used in this mode.
The XL9B records data & activity for each target rack processed to an output file.
