Basic operations - Starting XL9B

Start the instrument hardware.

1. Turn on the computer.
2. Turn on the XL9B instrument, using the plug and on/off switch at the back.

Start the instrument software.

1. Click on the XL9B Icon on the computer's desktop, to start the software.
2. The software opens, displaying the Select Capture Device screen
   
3. Use this to identify the camera you will be using to capture tube barcodes.
4. Click Initialize to prepare your instrument for operation.
