Loader Error Log
The Loader Error log file lists serial port command data recorded during a mechanical error and other error events. The Loader Error log file name is: LDRLOG.LOG
It can be viewed by selecting the File Menu, then View Loader Log. Use Export Log to save a copy as a text file.
Loader Control Panel
The Loader Control Panel is on the Tools menu of the main screen.
The Loader Control panel allows manual control of the XL20B e.g.
- Click on HOME MOTORS.
- XL20B will calibrate by moving the pick head to the home position (near rack position number 1)
or
- Set Tray = 1
- Click on 'Get Tube' button
- XL20B will attempt to pick Tube A01 from the rack located at XL20B rack position number 1

Scale Tare Procedure
- With the balance empty, from the Scale Control Panel: click 'Close lid', then click 'Tare' button.
NOTE: XL20B software will tare the balance at start-up. The balance will also tare repeatedly at the interval set in the Loader Settings menu.
XL20B Error Conditions
You can configure how XL20B responds to a limited number of error conditions via the Error
Handling Options screen in the XL20B software.
NOTE: For most tube pick and place operations we recommend you allow a re-try on error.
