You will need to provide a PC or laptop to the following specification:
- OS: Windows 10 (32-bit / 64-bit) or Windows 11
- 4GB RAM
- 1 x USB-A 2.0 port (the cable provided is USB-A but you can use an adaptor e.g. if using a
laptop) - Administrator privileges will be needed for software installation
- Your choice of monitor, keyboard and mouse
Space
The operating space required varies with specification. You will also need to allow space for the
laptop or desktop PC to control the instrument.

Environmental requirements - standard module

Note that the 4-place balance has specific requirements:
- Allowable temperature: 5° - 40°C
- Operating temperature: 10° - 30°C
- Mitigate possible sources of vibration as these will impact accuracy.
Environmental requirements - cold room module
-10° - 40°C, 10-90% RH for Cold Room Model XL20B (functionally equivalent to the standard
module but supplied with bearings, grease, etc. suitable for use in cold environments)
LabelPro can be used in a cold room environment (it has been operated at -10°C) but be aware
that frost and condensation may challenge performance.
The 4-place balance can be supplied with a cold room XL20B, the recommended environmental
conditions are then -4° - 40°C, 10-90% RH
Power
The instrument requires 100-240VAC ~ 50/60Hz.
