Vials
Each arktic is configured to store the specific vial type which was requested pre-installation.
INFORMATION: Vial caps must be screwed on to the manufacturer’s recommended torque, as
loose caps may come off and over-tightened caps may cause distortion of the o-ring seal which causes jams in the transport mechanism.
INFORMATION: Vials must not be filled above the manufacturer's working volume as expansion when frozen may result in damage to the vial.
INFORMATION: Vials must be dry and frost free prior to storage. Moisture carried into the store can result in stuck vials requiring a service visit.
INFORMATION: Ensure vials are unlocked in the rack before storing them, as locked vials may jam the loading mechanism requiring a service visit.
Racks
Vials are loaded and unloaded from arktic using the appropriate rack for the vial type. You can
store or retrieve any number of vials in one order, from a single vial to multiple racks.
All rack types must be barcoded for tracking. The barcode must be positioned on the A1-H1 side
of the rack. The barcode reader can read most common linear codes.
